Digital X-Ray · All 4 Centers

Digital X-Ray

Instant, low-dose imaging at all four centers — Baddi, Nalagarh, Pinjore and Nohar. Most X-rays are reported within 15–30 minutes.

What Is Digital X-Ray?

In and out in five minutes, image on screen in seconds

Digital radiography (DR) captures X-ray images directly onto an electronic detector — no film, no chemicals, no developing time. The image is on the screen in seconds.

Digital detectors need less radiation than film for the same image, and because we can correct brightness on screen instead of repeating the exposure, most patients receive a lower total dose. Our exposure factors are audited as part of routine QA. That means fewer repeats and instant sharing with your doctor.

Our systems: Carestream DR at Pinjore (installed 2024), Allengers systems at Baddi and Nalagarh, and digital systems at Nohar — all AERB-licensed and quality-checked.

Common Indications

When doctors order an X-ray

Chest

Cough, fever, breathlessness — pneumonia, TB, heart size, lung findings. The most common X-ray of all.

Bones & joints

Fractures, dislocations, arthritis, spine alignment — from a finger to a full spine series.

Pre-employment & checkups

Where an employer's occupational health policy or a statutory requirement calls for a chest X-ray, we perform it. We do not recommend routine chest X-rays for people without symptoms or risk factors — each exposure should have a reason.

Available At

All four centers

No appointment needed — just bring your doctor's prescription. X-rays are done only on a doctor's referral, because every X-ray must be medically justified. If you are or might be pregnant, tell the radiographer before the exposure. We will check whether the X-ray is necessary, whether another test can answer the question, and if it must be done we shield you and use the lowest possible exposure. For abdominal and pelvic X-rays in women of childbearing age we ask the date of your last period. Call +91 89504 54111 for the nearest centre.

X-ray from ₹300 — the exact price depends on the number of views; call to confirm.

Reporting

Read, reported, delivered — same day

Every X-ray is read by a consultant radiologist of the group. Single views are typically reported within 15–30 minutes; films for the referring doctor are sent digitally on request.
