Fetal Studies
Ultrasound scans during pregnancy — dating, NT/NB, growth and 3D/4D scans on GE machines — Voluson at Nalagarh and Pinjore, LOGIQ P9 at Baddi. 3D/4D fetal imaging is available at Nalagarh and Pinjore.
Every milestone of your pregnancy, on screen
From the first heartbeat to the final growth check, ultrasound is how doctors follow your baby's development — and our GE machines — Voluson at Nalagarh and Pinjore, LOGIQ P9 at Baddi — are built for exactly this.
- Early & dating scan (6–10 weeks) — confirms pregnancy, heartbeat and due date
- NT / NB scan (11 weeks 0 days to 13 weeks 6 days) — measures nuchal translucency and nasal bone. It is combined with a blood test (dual marker) to give a risk estimate; it is a screening test, not a diagnosis.
- Anomaly scan (18–20 weeks, up to 22 if referred late) — detailed anatomy check
- Growth & Doppler scans (28 weeks onwards) — baby's size, fluid and blood flow
- 3D/4D imaging — where it adds diagnostic information (face, palate, spine, limbs), and printed images for you afterwards. 3D/4D is done as part of a medically indicated scan, never as a standalone photo session.
Preparation
A comfortably full bladder helps — drink 3–4 glasses of water an hour before. For early scans this is essential.
During the scan
Gel and probe — exactly like any ultrasound. A family member can usually sit with you, and you can watch the screen throughout.
Reporting
Scans are reported by our radiologists, and the report goes to your obstetrician the same day. 3D/4D pictures are printed for you.
Anomaly scan from ₹2,000 — the final price depends on the scan type; call to confirm the exact price for your study.
